I come back every couple of OSRS gold years or so. Can't say anything holds my interest for a long time, though. Genuinely feel terrible that mtx is the most prominent feature when seeking to get anything. A real shame given how much possible rs3 might have to thrive over the coming decade.Old head here, stop some time ago. The only old minds left are individuals who don't play different games MMO's, otherwise they'd realise how crap this game is and that the value for money they get from it's non-existent.
I realise this and will probably be joining you shortly once I reach a couple closing goals, but havent paid real dollars to play this game in years. And you are right, I play other games.I was nearly comped (which I still resent not doing) but gave up because I couldn't bring myself to play the game any longer and still can't bring myself to. I just log in very occasionally to earn some money by simply afking in a portable (to switch to OSRS) and play a few OSRS, but mostly play and raid in WoW.
Would highly suggest checking out WoW (good time to get in and level after the new growth releases this autumn ) or FFXIV that is another top MMO but I am personally not a fan of the JRPG theme. That is so true it hurts.old head , no plans on leaving mind that you began in late 2006. When I do leave, it wont be to play with another mmo.
I had been around until about a year and a half past, maxed my accounts, and havent logged back into rs3 since.I excused myself within a year ago. Stayed here for the memes though. How can I dismiss it when it's in my face?I visit GE and there's a bunch of particle clusters that look as though they slayed all the Elder Gods. But I then inspect them and a number of them don't even have 1000 SP.Cosmetics are a sign of progress in MMOs, when you pervert this notion that you invalidate player development and subsequently kills engagement.
Why is it that you believe RS3 bleeds players? Why do you believe it's a third of Oldscape's playercount despite the later being visually and mechanically painful to playwith? Since RS3 has killed any sense of true engagement and participant progression and thus it fails to bring any fresh players in. Osrs devs are paid do develop the material. The players left in RS3 would be the ones just didn't dare to make the jump towards Oldscape. Along with the devs keep churning out"content" to maintain their ever dwinling playerbase from evaporating entirely. Osrs devs are compensated do develop the material while ours are... idk, I'm not blaming them but the upper management is obvs not forcing them to cheap RuneScape gold create valuable game content.
